Grand Launch - Christmas In The Air
It was indeed a magical afternoon to remember, for Sungei Wang has launched it’s one-of-a-kind thematic Christmas celebration for 2015.
The highlight of the celebration is the 25 feet tall Christmas tree. Yes. Hanging in the air. Beautifully themed as Christmas in the air, Sungei Wang Plaza is all set to bring joy and magic to you this festive season.
A lighting ceremony was held to officiate the occasion.
To make the celebration more meaningful, a series of Christmas related events and activities has been lined up for you to enjoy from 4th December 2015 to 3rd January 2016. There is plenty of games and kiddie rides such as mini carousel, mini trains and game booths.
During the day of the launch, single mums were also invited to enjoy a Christmas shopping spree with their kids and in conjunction with the Christmas celebration, Sungei Wang Plaza and Rotary Club of Pudu will also be organizing Single Mom Christmas Event. The program is aimed to help single mums and to show appreciation for their selflessness effort to their family. A single mum bazaar that sells all sort of things will be ongoing from 19th and 20th December 2015 to create awareness for single mums and part of the profit will be donated to the Single Mothers Association.
To complete the celebratory ambiance,various interesting events and performances such as Acrobatic Santa & Elves, Christmas Carolling, Kids Christmas workshop, Christmas Characters walkabout are lined up for shoppers to participate in. Christmas FlashMob is not to be missed! A Christmas Market Hall will be set up next to the centre stage as well.
Tourists and shoppers alike will be able to find Christmas delights and festive season delights products for their loved ones here.
A series of redemptions and promotions are avaipable during this period. Shoppers can enjoy free gift wrapping service for any amount spent in Sungei Wang Plaza and with every RM150 spent in a single receipts, shoppers can redeem a free Christmas Carousel of Kiddie Train at Sungei Wang Plaza.
Also, in conjunction of the Malaysia Year End Sale 2015, shoppers with minimum spending of RM250 and above in a maximum of 2 accumulated receipts are entitled for Pull&Redeem instant redemption. Redemptions are available at Sungei Wang Plaza Customer Service Counter at LG Floor.
International tourists are not left out as Sungei Wang Plaza is encouraging them to bring a piece of Malaysia home. Those bearing foreign passport just need to flash their passports and receipt with minimum RM50 purchase at the Customers Service Counter to redeem a little surprise to bring home.
